The Agreement formalizes corrective actions already implemented by Marion County Utilities and establishes additional requirements for system evaluation, infrastructure improvements, and ongoing reporting. Fiscal impact is limited to a $250 reimbursement of DEP investigative and administrative costs.\\par\r\n\\par\r\nThis settlement agreement is the result of FDEP inspections at the SWRWRF and the wastewater collection system in Oak Run.  The FDEP identified a few issues that MCU quickly resolved, an overflow at the plant due to a lightning strike and odor concerns at the plant and in the collection system.  This settlement agreement is a commitment by MCU to resolve the primary outstanding issues related to odor concerns from neighbors.  The BCC approved a contract with an odor control engineering firm to complete an evaluation and identify corrective actions.  This work is underway and will address most of the items in this settlement agreement.  This evaluation work will include necessary corrective action that MCU will be committed to complete.  The specific improvements are unknown until the evaluation is complete.  The corrective action projects will be funded through the utility fund.\\f1\\fs20\\par\r\n}","MatterVersion":"1","MatterCost":null,"MatterText1":null,"MatterText2":"Teresa.Felde@marioncountyfl.org","MatterText3":null,"MatterText4":null,"MatterText5":null,"MatterDate1":null,"MatterDate2":null,"MatterEXText1":null,"MatterEXText2":null,"MatterEXText3":null,"MatterEXText4":null,"MatterEXText5":null,"MatterEXText6":null,"MatterEXText7":null,"MatterEXText8":null,"MatterEXText9":null,"MatterEXText10":null,"MatterEXText11":null,"MatterEXDate1":null,"MatterEXDate2":null,"MatterEXDate3":null,"MatterEXDate4":null,"MatterEXDate5":null,"MatterEXDate6":null,"MatterEXDate7":null,"MatterEXDate8":null,"MatterEXDate9":null,"MatterEXDate10":null,"MatterAgiloftId":0,"MatterReference":null,"MatterRestrictViewViaWeb":false,"MatterReports":[]}
