The proposed amendments are implementing two programs within the Specific Plan by establishing a density range of 40 to 210 dwelling unit per net acre for the City Center-Retail Office Commercial (CC-ROC) and City Center - High Density Residential (CC-HDR) and remapping a total of 130 parcels to the CC-ROC land use designation to be consistent with the existing zoning.  \n\nThe proposed amendments are fully consistent with the Hayward 2040 General Plan, the Hayward 2023-2031 Housing Element, and the City's Transit-Orientated Community Policy.
