This order has the force of law and is an emergency measure issued jointly with the Cincinnati Board of Health pursuant to its emergency authority under the Ohio Revised Code. These bike and scooter sharing services pose a significant risk of transmission of the COVID-19 virus based on the information available regarding the matter in which the virus is spread and the length of time it can survive on metal and other surfaces.
